About Dr. TSE

Dr. Tse graduated from the University of HK in 1991. He then started his surgical training by working in one of the busiest public hospitals in HK.

In 1996, he obtained his first surgical fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (F.R.C.S.) & the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong (F.C.S.H.K.). He then furthered his training and in 2000, he obtained another Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (F.R.A.C.S.), and became a Surgical Specialist of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (F.H.K.A.M.).

After his solid foundation training in general surgery, involving operations like endoscopy, abdominal and gastrointestinal operation, thyroid surgery & general laparoscopic surgery. Dr. TSE further subspecialized in Vascular Surgery.

He was specially trained in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery in several overseas vascular centers, including in the U.K., USA and Australia. He initiated the practice of combine open and endovascular approach in managing patients with vascular diseases in his hospital. He has performed some of the most complicated vascular operations by employing the skills of Open and Endovascular Surgery, including surgery on Peripheral Arterial and Venous diseases, Aortic Aneurysm, and Haemodialysis Vascular Access. His commitment in this area has led the Vascular Team to win the Outstanding Team Award in 2007.

Dr. Tse is frequently invited to be the guest speaker & chairman in a number of local and international vascular conferences.

His scientific work in complex Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm was granted the Best Scientific Paper Award in the Annual Scientific Meeting in 2010.

He was the Chairman of the QEH Doctors Association, Founder of the Younger Fellows Chapter for the Surgeons. He was also the Council Member, & Chief Editor of the Newsletter of the College of Surgeons of HK, and is currently a member of the Scientific Committee.

Currently, Dr. TSE is the Consultant Surgeon of the Esteem Vascular Center & Veno Leg Vein clinic, Horonary Consultant Vascular surgeon of the St Teresa’s Hospital, Matilda Internalional Hospital. Nevertheless, Dr. TSE still reserve part of his time to serve in the public hospital.
